Matthew 18:1-3 (AMP)[AT THAT time the disciples came up and asked Jesus, Who then is [really] the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2[And He called a little child to Himself and put him in the midst of them, 3[And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].
Jesus used a child as an example of someone who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
If you think that children are not very important to Jesus, look at
Matthew 18:5 (AMP)
5.And whoever receives and accepts and welcomes one little child like this for My sake and in My name receives and accepts and welcomes Me.
If you receive a little child, it’s like receiving Jesus Himself!
The above explains the value, we place on our children’s church! Our children’s church and the training of our children in the ways of the Lord is a top priority!
Proverbs 22:6-7 (NKJV)
6.Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
